Estrella String Trio performs at Sheraton Grand Gold Coast Ballroom for ARG Corporate Function

The Sheraton Grand Gold Coast Ballroom was brought to life on the evening of 3 September 2025 with the sounds of the Estrella String Trio.
Performing for the ARG Corporate Function, our musicians created the perfect atmosphere with a unique mix of modern pop hits performed on traditional classical instruments. From chart-topping favourites to timeless melodies, the repertoire added an element of surprise and delight for the guests.
Led by professional Gold Coast violinist Yana Wells, Estrella Strings brought both energy and refinement to the event. The trio’s performance provided a sophisticated backdrop to the evening, complementing the Sheraton’s stunning ballroom setting and adding a memorable touch of live music.

A night of String Magic - Valentines Day at Cavill Lane, Surfers Paradise

Estrella Strings brought the romance to life with a 3-hour live concert of stunning string covers right in the heart of Surfers Paradise. As couples strolled, wined, and dined beneath the fairy lights of Cavill Lane — the vibrant laneway of The Hilton — they were serenaded by our signature pop string renditions of The Beatles, Ariana Grande, Madonna, Lady Gaga, Elton John, and more.
The atmosphere was electric, the music unforgettable, and the love in the air absolutely magical.

Estrella Strings was delighted to be part of the glamour and inspiration at the Gold Coast Bulletin Woman of the Year Awards 2024, held at the luxurious The Star Gold Coast.
Our electric violin duo, featuring the talented Lauren Bradnam and Yana Wells, set the tone for the evening with a vibrant performance on the red carpet. Their captivating music welcomed award winners, nominees, and guests, adding an elegant and electric ambiance to this prestigious event.
The celebration highlighted the incredible achievements of women across the Gold Coast, and we were truly honored to contribute to such an empowering occasion.

Farewell for Somerset College Headmaster at Kwila Lodge

Estrella Strings had the honour of providing music for a truly special occasion: the farewell and retirement celebration for Somerset College’s esteemed Headmaster, Craig Bassingthwaighte.
The event was held at the stunning Kwila Lodge, nestled in the serene Gold Coast Hinterland.
Estrella performed a special selection of pieces to match the elegance of the evening. It was a privilege to be part of such a meaningful and heartfelt send-off to Mr Bassingthwaighte.
